RETURN

Please note:

Products returned to us must be in a resalable condition. Products should be unused, with labels attached. 

With the exception of damaged goods, Black Clay is not responsible for the cost of returning products.

Returns will be processed within 5 working days of receipt.

The order remains the responsibility of the customer until we receive the return at our warehouse. We always advise that you obtain proof of shipment when returning an item as we can only issue a refund once the goods are received or proof is provided.

There is a minor restocking fee applied that will be charged to your credit card. The fee is $25 per return. This fee allows us to keep our prices and artisan partnerships sustainable. Specifically, they help cover the cost to ship items back and manage the inventory. We always want to reduce waste, recycle, and donate where we can, so they help fund initiatives there as well.

How to return an item

1. Place the product in protective packaging to ensure your return arrives safe and sound.

2. Email us with the reason for your return or exchange your order at cs@blackclayhome.com

3. Please provide pictures of the product. We will email you back to approve the request and provide the return address 

4. Drop your box at the nearest post office or with your chosen courier

5. Keep hold of the proof of shipment, just in case

All of our items are handmade, using natural fibers and materials that are of delicate nature. Please note that there may be some variation in design/color between products due to the natural component and handcrafted nature of the product. Should there be any damage to the items in your order, however, please notify us immediately and we will do our best to exchange this as quickly as possible.

Wholesale/Trade

Returns are not accepted on wholesale and trade orders.  All wholesale and trade orders are final.
